The 6th Annual Open Meeting of the ECCA will be held at the SMART ASTON COURT HOTEL, MIDLAND RD, Derby DE1 2SL on Saturday 18th May 2013 at 12 noon.  The Conference Room is on the ground floor of the Hotel, tea and coffee will be available from 11:30.

1. Apologies for absence and hold a short silence in memory of Vera Duerdin who was the Association’s First Women President.

2. Chairman’s welcome and confirm the President for 2013/14 and then pass the Chain on to Pat Carlan of the Midland AA.

3. Chairman’s report.

4. Honorary Treasurer’s report and financial statement.

5. Election of Honorary Treasurer, for a 3 year period, Richard Inchley has been nominated by 3 Clubs and is duly elected.

6(i). Election of General Committee Members, one third of the Committee is due for election. Pat Green, Joe Mower, Graham Heeley, Jean Simpson, Martin Howard and Graham Brown have been nominated by various Clubs and are duly elected.

(ii) Vacancies exist on the General Committee and Ian Murdoch has been nominated and is duly nominated and elected.

7. Confirm the 2 nominations from each of the bodies representing Cross Country in the Midlands, North and South. These are Midlands, Peter Burns & Rita Brownlie, Northern Athletics, Steve Gaines & Arwel Williams and the South of England, Chris Stott & Eric Nash.

8. Consider proposals from the ECCA Championship Committee with regard to the number of UKA registered foreign athletes that can score in Teams at ECCA Championships, see the attached paper.

The Chairman will then adjourn the Open Meeting and then commence General Committee business

9. Minutes of the October General Committee meeting and matters arising.

10. Reports on the 2012/2013 Championships and recent Championship Committee meetings and report on venues for the season ahead.

11. Winter Fixture list, when is the best time to hold Area Cross Country Relays,

12. Reports on International Fixtures.

14. Dates of meetings in the next 12 months.
