- Chairman’s welcome and invite Basil Heatley, nominated by Midland Athletics, to accept the President’s chain of office for the forthcoming year: 2016 – 2017
- Chairman’s report
- Honorary Treasurer’s report and financial statement
- Election of the Honorary Treasurer, for a 3 year period, Richard Inchley has been nominated by 4 Clubs and is duly elected
- Election of General Committee Members, one third of the Committee is due for election annually. Mrs Pat Green, Joe Mower, Graham Heeley, Mrs Jean Simpson, Martin Howard, Graham Brown and Ian Murdoch retire this year and may be re-elected. Nominations have been received for Mrs Jean Simpson, Mrs Pat Green, Martin Howard, Joe Mower, Graham Heeley and Tony Wood and they are duly elected. Where any Vacancies exist on the General Committee then nominations from the floor may be accepted.
- Confirm the 2 nominations from each of the bodies representing Cross Country in the Midlands, North and South. In 2015 2016 these are:
Midlands: Peter Burns & Rita Brownlie
Northern Athletics: Steve Gaines &a Arwel Williams
South of England: Chris Stott & Martin Holland
The North has nominated Steve Gaines and Arwel Williams.The Chairman will then adjourn the Open Meeting and commence General Committee business - Minutes of the October General Committee meeting and matters arising
- Reports on the 2015/2016 Championships and recent Championship Committee meetings and report on venues for the season ahead
- Reports on International Fixtures
- UKA, EA, AAA, English Schools and Area reports
- Any other business and dates of meetings in the next 12 months
