The Association has been informed by Matt Frazer’s family that he has passed away after his long battle with Cancer. Matt, a Past President and Honorary Secretary of the ECCU steered the Association from the days of the ECCU to the new setup with the Women’s Association in the early 90’s when we all combined to become the England Cross Country Association.

Matt’s funeral will be on Friday July 5th at St Augustine’s Church, Darlington at 10:00am. The service will be followed by a private, family committal. We understand that refreshments will be available at a social club adjacent to the church after the service but don’t have any further details.

Matt’s daughters have requested no flowers and donations to St Teresa’s Hospice.
