The 2015 Saucony English National Cross Country Championships take place at Parliament Hill Fields on Saturday 21st February, 2015 celebrates the fact that it is 65 years since the first time a National Championship was held at Parliament Hill when the Women’s Event was held there in 1950 while the Men were first there in 1957.

Since those two there has been seven more men’s championships and since the amalgamation of the Men’s and Women’s Associations four joint championships. So 2015 is the fourteenth time a English National Championship has been held at this famous venue which has seen among others Basil Heatley, Mel Batty, Dave Bedford, Brendan Foster, Julian Goater and Richard Nerurkar as winners. While on the Women’s side of things Hayley Yelling and Gemma Steel have won at the venue.
