The entry system for The National opens on June 1st. See details under Nationals entry procedure. Following the extremely wet winter, the rescheduled “National” will take place at Weston Park near Telford on Saturday 14th September.

We very much hope that you will be supportive of the new concept of a September National Championships. Age groups will be as they were for the postponed National so as per the 2023-2024 XC season.

We would like to think that the course will not be the traditional muddy winter conditions, it will hopefully be firm grassland that will have been grazed by sheep all summer.

As the daylight hours are more than in February, the first race will be at 12 midday (U17W), with as is traditional, the Senior Men racing last at 4.00pm.

This is a one-off September experience, that you will hopefully embrace, and be able to say “I was there”.
